Delicious umami-filled steak and peppers sandwich. Reasonable price considering most places around here charge the same, if not more, for a sandwich of lower quality.

This is a high end deli and they have a lot of interesting and imported sauces and spreads. The counter guy is always very friendly and helpful. It's a specialty shop so the prices do tend to be above average, but it is worth the extra cost, it's not more than what you'd pay at Whole Foods. The deli meats are fresh and the sandwiches and soups are prepared well. It's been here for many years now and is a great addition to Forest Hills.

Was surprised with a lovely treat from Mr. Vino's today for a very special anniversary. Dark chocolate covered raisins -- a nice way to celebrate the day. As the dish was passed around someone asked "Oh! Delicious! Where did you go for this?" And the answer? "Nick's place, Mr. Vino's." So nice to have an affordable place with an amazing selection of novelty cheeses and treats in the neighborhood! The team is great as well. Highly recommending.

Love the sandwiches and vibes of this gem. The staff are really friendly. They also have tons of yummy charcuterie from Europe.

Wonderful sandiwch shop on the block. Good service and my go to here are the pressed panini sandwiches. Anything with the plum jam is great. Juicy tasty rubens and a nice proscuitto and cap pressed toasty sandwich. Really feels like a shop from Spain to full your sandwich needs. Will be back.

Italian deli and grocery store. There are some interesting olive oils, pasta sauces, dry pastas, and jams here. They make a nice Reuben. Sandwich prices are reasonable. Shelf-stable items are pricier but worth it if you're looking for something specific that they have.

4 stars first visit a few weeks ago. Really tasty sandwiches. We tried 2, the Mr. Vino Italian and Ole Ole. Both were quite delicious but we both preferred the Italian since we haven't eaten a good deli sandwich in ages. It had a generous amount of meat. Sliced thin, the meats were fresh but best if eaten the same day. Bread was soft and chewy. Ole Ole is served hot with the melted cheese and it's a lil sweet from the fig spread; I loved the chorizo. I don't eat cold cuts often since they're high in sodium but it was a nice treat. They're not huge sandwiches, so not cheap but better quality than the usual deli stuff. Update: 2nd visit: 3.5 stars - I got the Mr. Vino Italian again for L and he told me it didn't taste the same, so I tried 2 bites. I don't think they added any soppressata which adds a lot of flavor and heat. It definitely looked like there was less meat than before. Ham and cheese on a hero I can pretty much get anywhere else. Bread didn't have that nice chewy texture. The people working there weren't the same as last time. So it really depends on who's making your sandwich that day. There were barely any roasted peppers. Just a plain, somewhat bland hero for $10.99. Bella was much better, it had more roasted peppers and nothing was missing. So L ate my sandwich since mine was better, he also ate the other one as well since I didn't want it. I had a few bites. The meat wasn't as fresh as my first visit.
